The Research Group on Creole Grammars (GRGC) piloted by the UMR 7023 -SFL (CNRS/U. Paris-8/ UPL). The seminar of the GRGC is held monthly, virtually or in hybrid format, bringing together researchers based in France, Guadeloupe, Martinique, La Réunion, Haiti, Mauritius, the United Kingdom, Canada and the USA.
The research group is open to all colleagues and students with an interest in the linguistic study of Creole grammars.
Activities & events
The GRGC coordinates the Collaboration between the University Paris 8 and the Faculté de Linguistique appliquée of the Université d’État d’Haiti (see here).

The GRGC was an active member of the International Research Group SEEPiCLa The Structure, Emergence and Evolution of Creole and Pidgin Languages : http://www.pidgins-creoles.cnrs.fr/ (2016-2020).
